At Naomi Bourque Jewelry, we take care in handcrafting each piece to ensure it meets our high standards of artistry and quality. Due to the one-of-a-kind, handmade, and often personalized nature of our work, all sales are final. We do not accept returns or refunds for change of mind, sizing preferences, or minor colour and texture variations that may appear different from on-screen images. 

We make every effort to represent our products accurately, but variations are inherent to handmade and natural materials. We encourage you to read product descriptions and view photos carefully, and to contact us with any questions before purchasing.

Damaged or Incorrect Items

Your satisfaction and the safe delivery of your artwork are our priorities.

  • Damaged Upon Arrival: Please contact us within 3 business days of receiving your order if your item arrives damaged. Include your order number and clear photos of the item and packaging so we can assess and resolve the issue quickly. 

  • Incorrect Item Received: If you receive an item that is different from what you ordered, please contact us immediately at naomibourque@yahoo.ca with your order number and a photo of the item received. We will provide a prepaid shipping label for you to return the incorrect item and will expedite the shipment of the correct piece to you.

Understanding the Nature of Our Products

a) Material Variations: Our jewelry is crafted from natural materials sourced from Canada's Far North, including Caribou antler, Muskox horn, and various hides. These organic materials have unique grains, colours, textures, and markings. These variations are not flaws; they are the signature of nature and a core part of the beauty and authenticity of each piece. No two items will be identical. Product images are representative, but the piece you receive will have its own unique character.

b) Sizing:

  • Earrings: We provide sizing information for each ring listing. As our earrings are made from materials like antler and horn, they cannot be resized by a conventional jeweler. Please confirm your correct ring size before ordering. If you’re unsure, we recommend visiting a jeweler or using a reliable earring sizer to ensure an accurate fit.

  • Other Items: Necklace lengths and bracelet circumferences are specified in the product description. Please review these measurements carefully.

Repair Policy

We are committed to the longevity of your jewelry.

  • Manufacturing Defects: If a piece breaks due to a verified fault in workmanship under normal wear, we will assess the item and offer a complimentary or reduced-cost repair, depending on material availability and the nature of the issue. 

  • General Repairs & Maintenance: For damage resulting from accidental loss, misuse, or general wear and tear, repair services are available at a cost. This includes re-stringing beaded necklaces, re-tipping claws, or repairing broken clasps. The cost will depend on the extent of the damage and material requirements. Please contact us to discuss any repair needs.

Order Cancellations

You may request to cancel your order within 12 hours of placing it, provided production on your item has not yet begun. As many pieces are made in small batches or made-to-order, we often start work shortly after a restock. To request a cancellation, please email us immediately at naomibourque@yahoo.ca with your order number. If your order has already been prepared for shipping, we will be unable to cancel it.

Shipping for Returns/Exchanges

For approved returns of incorrect items, we will provide a prepaid shipping label. For all other situations not covered under our "Damaged or Incorrect Items" policy, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs.
